I've been playing Globle, where you guess a country based on location (there's more to it)--it's not easy! And I just started Worldle last week, where you identify by shape. It would be easier if they gave a sense of scale. But it's interesting.

4 today. I'm currently watching my wife struggle with it - she's on her 4th word without a single letter so far and it's driving her a bit nutty :-)

I hit every vowel on the first three guesses, my fourth was the only thing that I could come up with.

Got it in 3. Pretty proud of myself.

Today was my worst struggle to date. Mostly because I was doing it in the middle ofa meeting and thought I'd already entered the actual word on try #4. I was very confused until I typed it in again on #6 and finally got it. Either way, more exciting than my meeting

Congrats! It was a tricky one. I was pleased to get it in three, thanks to lucky choices on the first two words--it was the only word I could think of that fit.

How else do you spell it? I often see it with the plural ending, but that's the only way I know how to spell the singular.

The plural ending is how I’ve seen it written most often, I guess.

It was a tricky one for sure, especially since there is another word with similar spelling and meaning. But that's what makes it fun, right? (right?)

I missed getting it in 2 by one letter. 2nd day in a row I've had a 50/50 guess between two words and guessed the wrong one.

Tduds I’ve had bad luck for the last week, Wordle and otherwise, so I was happy to get it in two today—even if it was a relatively easy word.

I ditched apple a while back. But the issue is common to other phones as well it seems.

Got it on the fourth try. It kind of comes down to what your first guess that the more letters you get, the easier it is to figure it out in less tries.

My husband is a hotrod guy and suggested ”coupe” as a starter word. It’s good.

Part of the appeal is that you only get one game a day, and everyone gets the same game, so you can only waste so much time on it. But it's still addictive. I like playing over my first cup of coffee to help wake my brain up. I also play Worldle and Globle, two geography games which are actually helping me learn world geography--even the tricky places like the Baltic states.

Since I found the particular Chess game app for my Android smart phone, I'll give it a whirl. I haven't played chess in a while so it would take time to get somewhere with it.

Anyway, I have that ARE PcM exam division coming up so there will be fewer posts from me other than a little time spent with Wordle.
