Gaudi's inclined columns on Sagrada Familia exterior? Also, summing forces[triangles OR f=f}?

Anybody know of any notes or how he engineered?

Because I KNOW they could have no knowledge of inclined loads, thus he probably assumed F=F, & not equivalent triangles [which we use today].  So, are equivalent triangles the incorrect method of stress calculation?  There IS a way to test this--tecquipment structures frame set
