Does anyone know which US' University I can find any post-professional specialization courses in Suistanable Architecture at (preferably no more than 3 months long) ?
upenn has an masters of environmental building design, but it is a year long program... i doubt that you'll find many (if any) that are only one semester...
yeah... its a subject with many layers of understanding.. but to be qualified a 'master' or a specialist you will have to study for at least a year.
I'm sure tehre are post-professional certificates in any major city you can get for topics within sustainable dsign like Sustainable Construction Techniques' or Sustainable Materials
thank you...last question aftwerwards I'll help myself......in case of choosing a one (or two) year program...do you know, by any chance, if they generally are completely full-week-time courses or if there is the possibility to reserve one or two days a week to carry out ordinary professional work ?
generally you will have 2-3 days of scheduled lecture/seminar or studio time and the rest is up to you... but it is very intense and working on the side and doing well in the course is quite difficult...
AASHE and several other organizations have lists of sustainable focused grad programs, there are now quite a bunch out there. Of the programs lists, UMN and UT are the oldest.
