PhD Writing Sample
Is it kosher to include multiple essays for a PhD theory program writing sample? I plan to include two 12 page essays, one history/theory and the other contemporary/commentary. Thoughts?
Is there any specific mention of the sample requirement? If not, go for it.
If there's a limit specified (I'm applying for a job now whose application instructions clearly state: "submit a single article or conference paper"), I'd stay within the limit.
