Post-professional Masters Urban Des. Toronto

Elisabeth

Giving some serious thought to a post professional Masters in Urban Design at U of T in Toronto.
Wondering if anyone has experience of the programme? In my case its partly to do with trying to deal with coming to North America when already registered and experienced in Europe, a little academic too but skills not transferring well.

I am a graduate of UofT urban design program. I personally think that at the time it was good and our group was a great collection of bright, intelligent and talented students in addition to being a very culturally diverse class. But I have to say that we all felt that there was a deficiency in terms of facilities and opportunities when it came to MUD students, compared to MARCh and MLA students who were in the same bldg as us. I think it was partly because our program was a new one and there were still things to be heard and to be experienced in order to make it better.

I don't know how it is now. It could have become better or not. I think the best thing is to try to communicate with one of the current MUD students there.

Cheers. Did it help open doors in Canada/US generally for you?
