I posted here somewhat frequently a little over a year ago but have since forgotten all my login details. So sorry to bombard everyone with a topic for my first post.

I have an undergraduate bachelor of arts in architecture and a graduate degree in urban planning. i am looking to expand my background in architecture with some kind of graduate-level degree that can allow me to develop more substantial facility with building-design issues.

Given my undergraduate degree in architecture (and the lack of weight a BA carries for professional/graduate work), plus my master's in planning (concentration in urban design), do you have any suggestions as to what the quickest way for me to achieve an architecture degree would be? i'm not necessarily committed to an m.arch...i know certain schools offer other degrees, though it's usually stated those are more for people with a b.arch.

am i relegated to applying to schools as an m.arch i candidate...usually that means at least three years in school. does anybody know of other programs that could allow me to gain at least some minimal level of higher standing to shave a little time off the degree?
