Im on track to graduate in April 2012, and have looking at a couple other programs. I have the luxury of getting (assumed) auto-acceptance to the masters program at my school as they go hand-in-hand with the bachelor's degree, and when I was looking around I came across a page on the University of Oregon's architecture website about some sort of Graduate Certifcate/Specialization in the area of museum curation/design, which was crosslisted in some way with the department of fine art there. Coming from a fine arts background (and at the moment undecided about pursuing an M.Arch or MFA), this stream has been playing in my mind for a few months now. Since then, however, I have been unable to find that page again and haven't really been able to get any information about it at all.
I was wondering if anyone had any information about this, or was it just some red herring that I came across? Perhaps I was reading to deep into something?
And/or, does anyone know of any other programs dealing with some sort of aspect of architecture as it relates to fine art, and possibly museum studies?
They're not within the architecture school, but University of Washington has a Museology program and also in the School of Art offers an exhibit design class taught by Kristine Matthews that I know architecture and landscape students occasionally take. She was my thesis advisor for my MFA and pretty much rocks at that stuff, so that could be a program worth checking out.
