ETH in Zurich.

Masters of Advanced Studies ETH in Architecture, Specialisation in Computer Aided Architectural Design (If your into that kind of stuff)

$2660 (with an even exchange rate) for the entire program.

I have found a few euro schools that are much less expensive then their US counterparts. AND you get the added bonus of living in europe, which is a big plus in my eyes.

My list so far, all reasonably priced compared to 40-60k a year for similar programs in the US:University College of London, Bartlett, TU Delft, Cambridge University

What are you looking to study?

Paradox

I agree it is more convenient to study in Europe in terms of cost and other things but isn't it better to go to grad school in US if you want to work in US? What would the employers think about the school you went to in Europe? Would that be a disadvantage? Also I'm thinking in terms of networking opportunities and alumni situation it is better to go to school in US.I don't know...

Columbia- Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design
MIT- Masters of Science in Visual Studies

Many schools offer some sort of urban design/ landscape urbanism that interest me. I would also be interested in computer aided architectural design.

Columbia offers a three term, 1 year (Summer-Spring) program which really makes sense. Then, you would only have to lease a space for a year and it might fit in better with an employer or future employer..

Maybe. Depends on your specific situation.

In my case, i know that eventually i want to settle down in boston and since i spent 5 years in boston getting my M.arch i have already established a pretty strong group of friends, colleagues and connections there. My M.arch will give me the local ties i need, while the post-pro degree i am looking to get will give me exposure to other areas of architecture that i may not have gotten if i never left boston.

And because my interests involve european history, it makes sense to study in europe, rather then here.

It all depends on what you want to do.
