hey, i'm wanting to learn more about these sorts of topics - does anyone have some good book recommendations that address the theory of, or explore interesting ideas behind tall, urban structures?
Here's an oldy but a goody; Alan Colquhoun's essay "The Superblock" was written in 1971. It's probably most available in "Essays in Architectural Criticism" by Oppositions Books (page 83 to 103).

has a bunch of books and reports available. Most of the smartest engineers and architects working in supertall are members.
