have any of you seen great community center ideas? we are to design a community center....just wondered if there was anything really inspiring out there to get the ideas flowing.
Did you look into some precursors mixing different functions, like Cedric Price's Fun Palace? Projects from the Dutch structuralists might also be a good thing to study. Although these buildings are problematic in their cellular layout and rough detailing, they are interesting from a programmatic viewpoint. What kind of community centre are you working on?
