Cienega Gardens Apartments is a 180 unit low-income multifamily project in Covina, California. Cienega Gardens was acquired and rehabilitated back in 2002 by Preservation Partners and Relativity Architects. In 2018, the project was eligible for re-syndication and underwent an extensive $67,000 a door rehabilitation. RA (Relativity Architects) undertook a complete renovation of the energy-consuming systems. We installed High-efficiency hot water, High Efficiency, 15 Seer Air Conditions, New Roof, lighting control system, LED lights throughout, High reflecting TPO roofing, new drip irrigation as well as a myriad of other energy and resource-saving renovations. Some of the 0 and 75% recycling of construction. Irrigation was drip with drought-tolerant plants.
