Located on a dramatic waterfront site on Nantucket, this new residence blends classic cottage-style detailing with lively modern furnishings. Outside, the home conveys the simple, casual feel of Nantucket’s traditional shingled beach houses; inside, airy light-filled rooms come alive with whimsical, eclectic furnishings. Individual pavilions containing various living functions are clustered around a central courtyard and pool. Workshop/apd collaborated with Parisian designers Jean-Marie Massaud and Daniel Pouzet and New York decorator and designer Jonathan Adler on the colorful interiors.
