Developed in collaboration with Dane Spencer Landscape Architect, this project removed the boundaries between the inside and outside of a modest early 1960’s ranch house. Emphasis was given to the roof through the addition of cypress finish and clearstory windows. The entire home was renovated and a new office addition completes a tranquil garden space. The house won the 2010 James Rose prize for sustainable design.
