ANTHC Patient Housing Alaska Native Health Campus
The flagship project of ANTHC’s improved access to care efforts, the new housing facility will offer 170-plus rooms for patients and families that have to travel to ANMC for care. It will allow easy access to the ANMC hospital via a sky-bridge and provide a home-away-from-home environment for our patients and families – more than half of Alaska Native Medical Center’s patients must travel to Anchorage for care and services. The project’s tentative groundbreaking is set for May 2015 with construction completed by spring or early summer 2016. The design team is kpb architects, interiors and landscape architects, EBSC civil engineers, Reid Middleton Structural engineers, Jernstrom Engineering mechanical engineers, EIC electrical engineers and William Caruso Associates food services consultants.
