The light from the sun, on its way into the abyss of darkness, happens upon a patch of land; striking it, the light brings warmth and love. Anchored in the earth at this place are two vertical stones. Borrowing light from the sun, the shadows cast by these stones on specific days form two axes, not opposites, not identical. Part of the larger earth, these stones and subsequent axes glide along a path, marked out by gravity ages ago, around the sun.

The shadows cast by the two stones, along the axes, mark out a space around which the dwelling revolves. The dwelling, revealed from the diverted earth, is a two-sided clock, with one space directed towards the sunrise, and one space towards the sunset.
