When the RCHS partners purchased a building in Larchmont Village for their expanding office, the firm transformed a once pink stucco building into a mixed-use building that houses their office, their retail store, and other tenants. Existing assets of the building, such as skylights, are maintained, while drab stucco, mansard roofs, and unnecessary details are replaced with color, glass, and pattern. Upper-level balcony walkways are added to contribute to the indoor/outdoor feeling of the space.

Along the glass balcony—and on panels throughout the rest of the building—an intricate pattern is displayed to the street. Complementary retail to notNeutral, along with a café, will create a design-oriented haven for shoppers and workers along Larchmont. The building will now engage the street, which promotes a healthy urban environment. The building was also designed for LEED certification.
