Highlands Park Aquatic Center

Located in the heart of Westerville, Highlands Park Aquatic Center is a complete demolition of existing and construction of a new outdoor aquatic complex. Sitting adjacent to protected wetlands, active soccer fields and within a residential neighborhood, the aquatic center is designed around sustainable principles. The amenities include an eight lane competitive lap pool with diving well, large leisure pool, a toddler pool with zero entry and small fountains, two 30′ water slides, a lazy river, and large and small spray grounds. With over 625,000 gallons of water, it is one of the larger aquatic complexes in the area. The project’s sustainable design incorporates green roofs, bioswales, rain water management and rain gardens, pervious concrete parking areas, water retention areas, low flow plumbing fixtures, motion controlled LED lighting, recycled building materials and fast growing/ recycled finishes.
