TWINE was retained as the Architect of Record for the adaptive reuse of Holy Name Medical Center's Old Convent building into administrative office space. The first phase, was the conversion of the top floor into the Hospital's Administrative Office Suite, including a new board room that doubles as a Medical Coordination Center for the State of New Jersey. The second phase was the conversion of the ground floor into Medical Staff offices, including a new Conference Center for Grand Rounds. The third phase converted the middle floor into office suites for Human Resources and Development. Prior to commencement of Phase I, a new elevator tower was constructed outside the building footprint, providing service to all floors. The shaft for the original elevator, servicing the Convent and woefully undersized, was regained as usable space inside the building itself.
