Our office provided full architectural services for the design and construction of a new four-story green apartment building on a city-owned vacant lot. Energy efficient systems provide comfortable environments for the occupants while saving utility costs. The exterior work included an insulated high albedo PVC roof, a zinc rain screen system, bluestone trim, stucco, and brick veneer construction.
The project was an unique opportunity to create homes that integrate ecological design elements while meeting Harlem’s need for mixed income housing.
