SWA is a prominent architecture & design firm in NYC, established in 1989. Stephen Wang is a member of the American Institute of Architects, The Urban League, and the Architectural League of New York and the Institute of Classical Architecture and Classical America. The main office is based in New York City with a satellite office in Sydney, Australia.

In 1979 Stephen, a native Australian graduated in Architecture from the University of Western Australia, Perth, with a design award in alternate forms of energy use in Architecture that would begin his world travel. Following his work with a prominent Australian Architectural firm, Bell International, Stephen traveled abroad throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. This two year sabbatical, visiting and studying classical and contemporary architectural design cultures was instrumental in the development of the SWA design philosophy.

SWA offers a wide range of architectural services including residential and commercial work. The firms work for private homeowners includes complete gut renovations and apartment combinations. Townhouses, single residential houses and interior design. Commercial projects include corporate office’s, recording studios, and retail stores.

SWA’S designs have been featured in magazine publications both in the US and abroad including, Architectural Digest, Interior Design, Metropolitan Home and Modern Living (Japan).
