I would like to share my recent thoughts and reflections about unique architectural characteristic of my native town Sarajevo, in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Archinect community...<br>
Quite simply, it’s about four buildings: the Catholic Cathedral, Serb Orthodox Cathedral, the Synagogue and the Ferhadija Mosque. </p>

1. Cathedral of Jesus’ Heart, built between 1884 and 1889.</p>

2. The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Theotokos, built between 1863 and 1868.</p>

3. An Ashkenazi Synagogue built in 1902.</p>

<p>
Apart from being representatives of the four most dominant religions in the world, these buildings are typical buildings of their time. However, their importance in this context is the fact that they are located so close to each other on a relatively small location. So, when walking in the city center, one can almost simultaneously touch and feel Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Judaism and Islam.<br>
