Difficult to see in these images but the bench top constructed from pieces of 14 ga. steel fastened together with stud welds to develop section strength by adjusting depth of top at middle section.

Uodate-X-Delta scalable seating

The X-Delta system can then be folded fairly quickly into the final form using basic tools. The fold axes are designated by a configuration of strategically placed laser cut incisions in the blank sheet. Support legs of the singular piece are folded inward and multiples may be continuously formed from a single sheet.

Latest competition for work at University of Rochester. A series of translucent laser cut translucent acrylic prisms. They will be illuminated from within....hopefully by using a setup of lasers and prisms that will "connect" the individual pieces establishing specific vectors relative to pathways and buildings. Also, as visual experience and way-finding devices.

Star Table by Ampdesign-short animation

Steel conference table with signature "compression" leg supports. This table uses a ply construction for the star shaped top. The two ply's are connected using welded studs to increase the sectional strength characteristics. The leg supports are integral to the bottom ply. The star shape allows for laptop use and other meeting items without obstructing the direct interaction with other meeting members.
