According to property records, only 16 of the building's 39 units have sold, a roughly 40% sell through that shrinks to an even smaller percentage when measured by square footage. Photo: Hufton+Crow.</figcaption></figure><p>For an upcoming Hat Party-themed fundraiser event, hosted by <a href="https://www.thehighline.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Friends of the High Line</a>, <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/221047/patrik-schumacher" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Patrik Schumacher</a> and his team have fired up the parametric design engines one more time and created the head covering complimenting the building, the <em>H-Line</em>.<br></p>

<p>Standing smack adjacent to Manhattan's famed <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/2191/high-line" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">High Line</a>, the 11-story residential mid-rise is certainly a formidable first project in New York City for ZHA. Since we <a href="https://archinect.com/news/article/77134027/zaha-hadid-architects-commissioned-to-design-high-line-condo-to-be-first-hadid-project-in-nyc" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">published initial renderings</a> back in 2013, readers speculated about the quality of the highly animated facade, and these new photographs allow a good glimpse of the impressive workmanship that went into hand-brushing and hand-tinting the curvy steel exterior.<br></p>

<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/ns/nscjye3x21qu5qz4.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p>The Society of American Registered Architects New York Council recently awarded its top 2017 Project of the Year accolade to the <a href="http://archinect.com/news/article/150001532/take-a-peek-at-the-interiors-by-jennifer-post-and-west-chin-inside-of-zaha-hadid-s-520-west-28th" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">520 West 28th Street</a> residential complex designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in collaboration with <a href="http://archinect.com/firms/cover/106323/ismael-leyva-architects" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Ismael Leyva Architects</a>. Adjacent to The High Line in the heart of West Chelsea, the sculptural 11-story development features 21 interlaced floors and 39 distinctive residential units up to 6,391 square feet and ceiling heights up to almost 11 feet high. The project is due for completion later this year. </p>

For the residence in the first images, the designer Jennifer Post was commissioned to provide furniture and decor. </p><p>"I am usually the creative visionary behind both the architecture and interior design of a space. Here, I am respectfully creating a vision that coexists with the vision of one of architecture's greatest minds," states Post. “This prompted me to really consider every move, every decision in a different, special way." </p><p><img title="" alt="" src="http://cdn.archinect.net/images/650x/tf/tfx5jnm35e8rh1fp.jpg"></p><p>The 4500 sq. ft., four-bedroom home in the first set of images images could be yours for just $15M. It comes with views of the High Line and Empire State Building.</p><p>Alongside Post’s design, West Chin, the principal of West Chin Architects, designed the interior of a $4.9M, 1700 sq. ft. residence—the lowest end of the spectrum for the building. In much welcome news, 6sqft learns today that yet another design of hers will rise just three blocks away in Chelsea.</p></em><br /><br /><p>The Moinian Group worked with the late Zaha Hadid on one of her final creations, 220 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea. The building will be a collection of loft-like condos and penthouses, as well as a cultural institution that will be a hub of the Chelsea art district. Construction is expected to begin in 2017.</p>
