Read and write in London: the GSD announces 2018 Richard Rogers Fellowship

Designed by <a href="http://archinect.com/news/tag/3917/richard-rogers" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lord Rogers</a> in 1968, the Wimbledon house was gifted to <a href="http://archinect.com/harvard" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Harvard Graduate School of Design</a> in 2015 and now host the participants of the Richard Rochers Fellowship. </p>

Dubbed the Richard Rogers Fellowship, the program is open to accomplished professionals and scholars working in fields related to the built environment.</p><p>Accepted applicants, pooled from an international open call, will inhabit the Wimbledon House for three months. Harvard will provide travel expenses to London and a $10,000 USD prize. The residency is intended to foster research around alternative and sustainable futures, in line with Rogers’ own cross-disciplinary, research-driven practice.</p><p>The house, a bright yellow modern masterpiece, was originally designed for Rogers’ parents.
