Photo: &copy; Tim Griffith</figcaption></figure><p>Seattle-based firm <a href="https://archinect.com/lmnarchitects" target="_blank">LMN Architects</a>, in collaboration with landscape architect <a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/69890403/walker-macy" target="_blank">Walker Macy</a>, was in charge of the $56 million, 24-month-long renovation and expansion which includes a new glass-enclosed park lobby, a new gallery, education studio, conservation center, and community meeting room as well as cleaning and preservation of the building's original sandstone facade and Art Deco metal work from 1933. <br></p> <figure><p><a href="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/22/2259b1d30e73259f1df236eb50b87dd3.jpg?auto=compress%2Cformat&amp;enlarge=true&amp;w=1028" target="_blank"><img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/22/2259b1d30e73259f1df236eb50b87dd3.jpg?auto=compress%2Cformat&amp;enlarge=true&amp;w=514"></a></p><figcaption>The museum's restored main entrance lobby.
