Named the Cadogan Café, the new full-service restaurant will be open from breakfast through to evening meals. </p><p><img title="" alt="" src="http://cdn.archinect.net/images/650x/75/75x3f25wqxnm7rga.jpg"></p><p><img title="" alt="" src="http://cdn.archinect.net/images/650x/n1/n1ea23az3j9peo7m.jpg"></p><p>The café has a sleek 'ribbon-like' wall of white polished concrete that curls round to a circular seating area for over 100 diners. A curved glass wall tracing the perimeter rises and falls into the basement depending on the weather. This is a world first in glass design and allows flexible yearly use and al-fresco dining. </p><p><img title="" alt="" src="http://cdn.archinect.net/images/650x/gz/gzq3get7wc2k4629.jpg"></p><p>Featuring a new public rooftop terrace overlooking the square and the Saatchi Gallery, the cafe allows visitors to sit amidst the bustling Duke of York Square and enjoy the surrounding environment. </p><p>Construction is planned to begin in Autumn 2016 and completed by Autumn 2017.</p><p>Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive of the Cadogan Estate said, ‘The Jury was won over by Nex’s design, which combines functionality with a sense of elegant self-containme...</p>
