<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/hn/hnyedlptyqytyglw.png?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p>The Forum on European Culture, an initiative of DutchCulture and De Balie, is hosting "1 Night, 12 Hours, 100 Questions," a marathon of interviews centered around the question: What is Europe?</p><p>Moderated by <a href="http://archinect.com/news/tag/8435/rem-koolhaas" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Rem Koolhaas</a> alongside political theorist Luuk van Middelaar and De Balie’s director Yoeri Albrecht, the form of the event, a part of the larger initiative #ReCreatingEurope, is inspired by <a href="http://archinect.com/news/tag/705070/hans-ulrich-obrist" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Hans Ulrich Obrist</a>'s marathons held annually at the <a href="http://archinect.com/news/tag/437298/serpentine-gallery" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Serpentine Galleries</a>. It's happening now.</p><p>The fate of the European Union, and the pan-European project in general, has never been so uncertain. Tensions are rising on the continent as an influx of refugees and the fallout from nearly a decade of austerity politics contribute to growing nationalist movements. In a few weeks, Britain will have a referendum to determine whether or not to stay within the Union.
