It's happening now.</p><p>The fate of the European Union, and the pan-European project in general, has never been so uncertain. Tensions are rising on the continent as an influx of refugees and the fallout from nearly a decade of austerity politics contribute to growing nationalist movements.&nbsp;In a few weeks, Britain will have a referendum to determine whether or not to stay within the Union.
