The renovation will replace antiquated plumbing, lighting, heating and other mechanics, as well as replace a hole left over from a skywalk entrance that was recently removed.</p><p><img title="" alt="" src="http://cdn.archinect.net/images/514x/mv/mv1qcwshxwzkdyph.jpg"></p><p>More on Mies here:</p><ul><li><a href="http://archinect.com/features/article/133573310/completing-mies-van-der-rohe-s-brick-country-house" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Completing Mies van der Rohe's Brick Country House</a></li><li><a href="http://archinect.com/news/article/149937684/will-mies-van-der-rohe-s-wolf-house-rise-again" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Will Mies van der Rohe&rsquo;s Wolf House rise again?</a></li><li><a href="http://archinect.com/news/article/139043225/cutting-across-the-chicago-architecture-biennial-re-ordering-mies-in-we-know-how-to-order" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Cutting across the Chicago Architecture Biennial: Re-ordering Mies in "We Know How to Order"</a></li><li><a href="http://archinect.com/news/article/129964678/view-from-the-farnsworth-house-may-soon-be-a-lot-drier" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">View from the Farnsworth House may soon be a lot drier</a></li><li><a href="http://archinect.com/news/article/124745471/redesign-of-dc-s-main-mies-library-tip-toes-around-the-good-and-the-bad" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Redesign of DC's main Mies library tip-toes around the good and the bad</a></li></ul>
