Longing to live the lavish life of a noble? Now you have the opportunity to do it at one of the most historic buildings in France after the Palace Versailles’ recent announcement that it will begin accepting visitors at a new entity called the <a href="https://airelles.com/fr/destination/chateau-de-versailles-hotel/le-grand-controle-histoire" target="_blank">Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle. </a></p>
<p><a href="https://news.artnet.com/art-world/see-insided-le-grand-controle-the-stunning-new-versailles-hotel-1985588" target="_blank"><em>Artnet news</em></a> is reporting that stays in the 17th-century palace, which first was built as a private residence for King Louis XVI, can now be booked by members of the public for prices starting at <a href="https://robbreport.com/travel/hotels/a-boutique-hotel-is-opening-inside-versailles-2888026/" target="_blank">$2,000 a night</a>. </p>

It's the largest photogrammetry project ever done at the castle, with 21 rooms and 387,500 square feet of internal surfaces captured.</p></em><br /><br /><p>Google has also made it possible to "handle and inspect over 100 sculptures, paintings and other works of art and see them with incredible close-up detail," according to <em>Engadget. </em>The experience is currently only available to HTC Vive and Oculus Rift users. </p>
<p>In addition to the virtual tour, Google has also launched an "online exhibition' through an app available on its <a href="https://artsandculture.google.com/project/versailles" target="_blank">Arts & Culture site</a>. It will allow users to interact with "over 390 assets, including objects, artifacts, and paintings.</p>
