<p>Founded in 1994, and with offices in Jackson, WY and Denver, CO, the firm describes its mission as to “elevate all aspects of the built environment to exceptional experiences through a process of rigorous design exploration that choreographs site and program into the making of meaningful architecture.” Over the past three decades, the firm’s portfolio has grown to encompass private residences, multi-family housing, hospitality, and cultural buildings.</p>

But Valerio is different. He believes in the physical substance of architecture, not the impression — that something should not just look interesting but be interesting. That makes him incredibly important to our field.”</p></em><br /><br /><p>The ever-famous Valerio Olgiati is also a favorite of <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/131961/kanye-west" target="_blank">Kanye West</a>, whose <a href="https://archinect.com/news/article/150282048/kanye-west-buys-57-3-million-tadao-ando-designed-malibu-home" target="_blank">splashy architectural tastes</a> have made headlines of late, and for whom the Swiss architect is said to be designing an <a href="https://www.kaleidoscope.media/article/valerio-olgiati" target="_blank">underground Wyoming home</a>, among other projects. The 44-year-old rapper even reached out to him for input on his recent album <em>Donda</em>.</p>
<p>“He says I am Picasso, and his job is to buy land so that I can create,” Olgiati told the <em>NYT Style Magazine</em>. “I have never had anyone who appreciates so much what I do.”</p>

Nona Yehia and Jefferson Ellinger established the architectural firm, Ellinger/Yehia Design LLC in 2003 to investigate links between architecture, landscape and technology. In 2004, the firm opened an office in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to further explore these inter-relationships.<br>
Architects, artists, scientists and designers throughout the ages have been inspired by the beauty and elegance in nature; studying, imitating and attempting to recreate natural systems has shaped life as we know it. Today, the question is how natural phenomena can become instrumental in the design of new architectures that radically redefine our built environment.</p>
