KRob 2013 Winners Announced

The winners have just been revealed for the 39th annual KRob Architectural Delineation competition, the longest running architectural drawing competition in the world. Six winners, three juror citations, and 21 finalists were selected this year. The 2013 jury was comprised of Alex Hogrefe (founder of alexhogrefe.com), sci-fi and fantasy artist Stephan Martiniere, and Perry Kulper (architect and associate professor at University of Michigan).

The annual KRob Architectural Delineation Competition is coming back for its 39th year. The competition was established in 1974 by the AIA Dallas Chapter and named after architect Ken Roberts who was recognized for his talent in ink perspective drawing. As the world's oldest architectural drawing competition currently in operation, KRob recognizes original works that best represent the artistic qualities of the medium in both hand-drawn and digital formats.

The 2012 KRob competition has announced six winners, three jury citations, and twenty finalists this week. Now in its 38th year, the annual Ken Roberts Memorial Delineation Competition is the longest running architectural drawing competition anywhere in the world.

Eleven winners and eighteen finalists were announced this week at KRob 2011, the international Ken Roberts Architectural Delineation, Drawing and Illustration Competition. The prestigious contest is the longest running architectural drawing competition currently in operation anywhere in the world, hosted annually by the AIA Dallas chapter [...].

Together with fellow jurors, Julie VandenBerg Snow of Julie Snow Architects and Kevin Sloan of Kevin Sloan Studio, I had the great pleasure to also serve on this year's judging panel as part of the long-standing partnership between the KRob competition and Archinect & Bustler.
