With their entry Seattle Jelly Bean, Boston architects PRAUD (Dongwoo Yim & Rafael Luna) were one of the three finalist teams which have now been invited to compete in the second phase of the competition through April until the final presentation in May.

We just published the winners of the design ideas competition, The Harlem Edge / Cultivating Connections, organized by Emerging New York Architects (ENYA). One of the finalist entries was the proposal Greenhouse Transformer by Dongwoo Yim and Rafael Luna of Boston firm PRAUD. The concept received an Honorable Mention.

Hotel Liesma Proposal by PRAUD

Boston architects PRAUD have shared with us their entry to the international Hotel Liesma design competition for a music-themed upscale hotel in Jurmala, Latvia. The proposal did not manage to win a prize, but we are happy to publish it. PRAUD's project team included Dongwoo Yim, Rafael Luna, and Emily Ko.

Busan Opera House Proposal by PRAUD

Boston-based firm PRAUD has shared with us their entry to the Busan Opera House competition. The international ideas competition invited visions for a massive cultural center, comprising a 2,000-seat opera house and a 1,300-seat multi-purpose theater, that acts as a landmark building for this booming South Korean city and puts Busan on the map of international tourism.

Korean Prime Minister’s Official Residence by PRAUD + Sunghyun Architects

Boston-based research and design firm PRAUD have shared with us their competition entry for the Prime Minister's Official Residence of Korea. The proposal for this structure in Sejong Special Autonomous City right outside of Seoul was a collaboration with Sunghyun Architects, landscape architects were Lee Yoon-joo and Park Kyung-ui. The entry did not manage to win a prize, but we think it is worth sharing.
