Zaha Hadid-designed 520 West 28th Street named SARA NY 2017 Project of the Year

The Society of American Registered Architects New York Council recently awarded its top 2017 Project of the Year accolade to the 520 West 28th Street residential complex designed by Zaha Hadid Architects in collaboration with Ismael Leyva Architects. Adjacent to The High Line in the heart of West Chelsea, the sculptural 11-story development features 21 interlaced floors and 39 distinctive residential units up to 6,391 square feet and ceiling heights up to almost 11 feet high. The project is due for completion later this year.

Registration deadline extended for 2015 SARA | NY Design Awards

If you want a chance to win in the 2015 SARA | NY Design Awards, take note that the registration deadline has been extended to February 9. Already registered? Just be sure to send your submissions by February 23.

All architects, designers, engineers, artists, students, and related fields are welcome. Built or unbuilt works are accepted in any of the following competition categories:

For categories 1-8, entrant must be a Registered Architect.
For categories 9-12, Architects, Designers, Artists, and Students are encouraged to enter.

The Society of American Registered Architects - New York Council just launched a call for entries for the 2015 edition of the SARA | NY Design Awards.

The competition is open to architects, designers, engineers, artists, students, and related fields. Why not take the chance? Just make sure to register by January 26 and submit your entries by February 23.

Built or unbuilt works are accepted in any of the following competition categories:
