<p>Since the selection of estudio Herreros to design the museum after receiving <a href="https://archinect.com/news/article/87143/winners-for-oslo-s-new-library-and-museum-competiton-announced" target="_blank">the top prize in the Munch Museum competition</a> in 2009, the project has faced delay after delay starting with <a href="https://archinect.com/news/article/112338758/oslo-council-votes-yes-on-new-munch-museum" target="_blank">political hurdles regarding its design and location</a>.
