<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/60/60263ebee3d618041121f4fbc7a9c605.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p><a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/2145/michael-maltzan-architecture" target="_blank">Michael Maltzan Architecture</a>, <a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/150234960/studio-zewde" target="_blank">Studio Zewde</a>, and <a href="https://archinect.com/once-future" target="_blank">Once–Future Office</a> have been named as the team behind a major upcoming reinstallation of the Toledo Museum of Art (TMA) in Ohio. The work will enable a chronological journey through its newly reinterpreted collection brought forth by a curatorial team that has quadrupled in size since 2020. The design team has been active in the past year gauging community feedback and conducting outreach surveys as per the announcement.</p>
<p>Plans will be unveiled in 2025, followed by the start of construction later in the year towards a 2027 completion. The six-building, 40-acre campus includes <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/5540/frank-gehry/" target="_blank">Frank Gehry</a>’s Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) and <a href="https://archinect.com/sanaa" target="_blank">SANAA’</a>s Glass Pavilion from 2006. <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/21290/michael-maltzan" target="_blank">Michael Maltzan</a> says: "By integrating diverse media and technology and prioritizing inclusivity, we aim to create a transformative visitor experience that can serve as a model for cultural institutions worldwide."</p>
