"If we don't speak up, we are on track to get more."</p>
<p>Other than visual aesthetics, the notable architecture critic from Pittsburgh highlights the issues with specific organizations praising projects and design proposals that poorly execute a good design. Rosenblum points out variables such as affordability, landscape, traffic, and parking are no longer in the discussion when assessing and awarding projects.</p>

Established in 1999 by the National Building Museum and named after Professor Vincent Scully to honor his legacy and work, the prize recognizes exemplary practice, scholarship, or criticism in architecture, historic preservation, and urban design.</p></em><br /><br /><p>Widely known as the anchor and executive producer of<em> Charlie Rose </em>and co-anchor of <em>CBS This Morning</em>, Rose will receive the prize in recognition for his insightful interviews with the world's leading thinkers that explore the value of good design as well as the growth and shaping of the urban cityscape.</p><p>A gala celebrating Rose and the award will take place at the <a href="http://www.nbm.org" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">National Building Museum</a> in Washington D.C. this November. Notable guests include architect Frank Gehry who will offer remarks on Rose.
