In Archinect's latest giveaway, our readers had the chance to win Arquitectura Viva's 2016 Spain Yearbook monograph. The book is a visual throwback of the last 12 months in Spanish architecture, revisiting 24 top-notch buildings that were all completed in the country over the last year.

Arquitectura Viva's 2016 Spain Yearbook is a visual throwback of the last 12 months in Spanish architecture, revisiting 24 top-notch buildings that were all completed in the country over the last year. Recently released by Arquitectura Viva — who previously published monographs on Rem Koolhaas, Norman Foster, and BIG — the book “confirms the good health of Spanish architecture” in spite of the country's ongoing construction sector crisis, AV describes.

The first-ever AV Monograph on Rem Koolhaas focuses on the last 12 years

The Spanish-publisher Arquitectura Viva just published a new monograph on Rem Koolhaas, their first-ever on the Dutch architect. Focusing on work since he won the Pritzker in 2000, the monograph includes an essay and twelve critical texts by Luis Fernández-Galiano alongside images of some of the most notable projects by OMA / AMO over the last twelve years.

A few weeks ago, Archinect had another monograph giveaway for Arquitectura Viva's "Norman Foster In the 21st Century". The most recent and longest installment in AV's monograph series, the book features 50 works and projects by British architect Norman Foster that were developed in the 21st century.

It seems as if BIG will stop at nothing short of world domination. As the subject of Arquitectura Viva’s 162nd monograph, the sheer volume and span of projects from Bjarke Ingels Group since its founding in 2005 is staggering.
