Second registration period for 5th IS ARCH Awards ends January 19

Just a reminder that the second registration period for the 5th edition IS ARCH Awards for Architecture Students ends January 19. Although there's still one more registration period, the fee will increase to €90 (approx. US$105).

The annual IS ARCH Awards provides for current architecture students -- and recent grads -- an international platform where they can contribute and debate on the projects and solutions derived from their university studies. The awards were created to provide a gateway to the professional and corporate world for young architects. The awards also encourages young architects to take part in healthy architectural debate and practice developing their own perspectives and opinions.

The competition is open to all architecture students and young architects that have graduated within the last 3 years prior to the date of submitting necessary documents.
Each participant or team of participants is allowed to submit as many projects as they like, regardless of typology...

Winners of the third edition IS ARCH Awards

IS ARCH revealed the winning projects of the third edition IS ARCH Awards on Dec. 9. Out of 159 submissions from students and young architects, the competition resulted in three winners, 10 Honorable Mentions, and 30 Finalists.

Here are the top three winners:

1st Prize: ENCLOSING LANDSCAPE

Winners of the 2013 IS ARCH Awards

The annual IS ARCH competition for architecture students and young architects has announced the winners of its second edition. The competition jury, composed of Sou Fujimoto, Benedetta Tagliabue (EMBT), Tomislav Dushanov (Herzog & De Meuron), Taba Rasti (Foster + Partners ), Rik Nys (David Chipperfield Architects), and Carlos Ferrater (Technical University of Catalonia), looked through 153 submitted projects from all over the world.
