<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/b6/b65bce19d5c9f35cf3aec7788313a7dd.jpeg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p>The fifth cycle of <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/820149/exhibit-columbus" target="_blank">Exhibit Columbus</a> will center on the theme ‘Yes And,’ a technique for “affirming and building upon an idea to create a shared narrative” loaned from improvisational theater methods and aimed at spurring “existing material to shape positive change.”</p>
<p>“Through a cycle of events, Exhibit Columbus will encourage the public to collaborate in the creation of the ongoing performance of the city. Whether we’re recovering architectural remnants, reflecting on cultural legacy, staging a dramatic spectacle, or reimagining public play, Yes And invites everybody to the public spaces of <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/820150/columbus-indiana" target="_blank">Columbus</a> to expand what forms of togetherness and collaboration are possible,” a press announcement elaborates.</p>
<p>The first chance to engage with this year’s <a href="https://archinect.com/news/article/150433570/exhibit-columbus-announces-five-curatorial-partners-for-2024-25" target="_blank">curatorial team </a>will come in October, when the program will stage a special two-day symposium (October 24th and 25th) in downtown Columbus. <img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/4f/4f9192d2272616019f7e6212ab9dc29d.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p>The list of five <a href="https://www.exhibitcolumbus.org/curatorial-team" target="_blank">curatorial partners</a> for the 2024-25 edition of <a href="https://archinect.com/exhibitcolumbus" target="_blank">Exhibit Columbus</a> has been announced ahead of the popular fair’s fifth edition. </p>
<p>Partners Could Be Design (of Chicago/Urbana-Champaign, IL); Mila Lipinksi (of Jackson, MS); Rasul Mowatt (of Raliegh, NC); and Preservation Futures (also Chicago) will join with local Indianapolis-based artist and poet Too Black to determine the Exhibt’s overall theme and direction before the first of its events begin will an October 24-25th symposium.</p>
<p>As always, the programming will be organized through the Landmark Columbus Foundation. A community kickoff event will be held in downtown Columbus on June 26th, featuring each of the selected curators. Design presentations will be made from February 21-22nd of next year following this fall’s symposium, and the final showcase will open to the public on August 15th, with each installation remaining on view through the end of November. </p>
