The school describes: "Speakers will cover subjects including: the financing of architecture and design projects; the role of developers, clients, and unions; gentrification; the visual and material culture of money; economic histories of architecture and design, critical creative explorations of the economy."</p> <p>Tuur Van Balen will kick things off on February 1, followed by Tom Wilkinson on February 29. The next two speakers to visit campus are Ben Campkin on March 7 and Russell Curtis and Oliver Bulleid on March 18. Their event is followed by a special bookmaking workshop and lecture from <a href="https://archinect.com/harvard" target="_blank">Harvard GSD&rsquo;</a>s Phillip Denny on <a href="https://soa.cmu.edu/events/2024/02/22/denny-workshop" target="_blank">February 22</a> and <a href="https://soa.cmu.edu/events/2024/02/23/denny-lecture" target="_blank">23</a>.
