<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/17/172a8b088c6b9ecad9daa428f3b2a62b.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p><a href="https://archinect.com/gensler" target="_blank">Gensler</a> has revealed plans for a new terminal design for John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) in Columbus, Ohio. The project replaces an existing terminal from 1958 and is aimed at enhancing the regional economy of the state’s capital in the interest of “Connecting Ohio with the World.”</p>
<p>Columbus-based architects <a href="https://archinect.com/moodynolan" target="_blank">Moody Nolan</a> will join the project as a design partner. The construction is necessary to meet the demands placed on the airport by Columbus’ expected demographic change, which will see the population of what is now the Midwest’s fastest-growing city expand to over 3 million by the year 2050.</p>
