Undulating balconies define Pininfarina’s 45-story tower in Fort Lauderdale

Developed by <a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/31717720/related-companies" target="_blank">Related Group</a> with CFE Architects as the architect of record, the Andare Residences condominium tower contains 163 residential units.</p>

At the base of the tower, meanwhile, a 36-foot arch marks the entrance to the scheme of the pedestrian thoroughfare.</p>

Above, the residences range from 1,800 to 4,300 square feet, designed with open-concept living areas, floor-to-ceiling glazing, and wraparound balconies.</p>

Lauderdale, Florida — one of America’s <a href="https://www.bizjournals.com/southflorida/news/2021/10/25/miami-fort-lauderdale-entrepreneur-fastest-growing.html" target="_blank">fastest-growing communities</a>.</p>
<p>The latest addition to the city’s skyline will feature a 1.1-million-square-foot cylindrical design located in the newly-developed Rio Vista neighborhood. The 633
SE 3rd Ave development is said to include a total of 830 residential units and another 13,000 square feet of commercial space situated on top of a podium lined with a recessed three-dimensional screen facade that doubles as a decorative element at night and covers a 951-capacity parking garage underneath.</p>

Lauderdale</a>, Florida. Developer Dependable Equities tapped ODA to design the architecture, interiors, and landscape for the 1.5-million-square-foot structure.</p>

According to the architects, this reinforces a visual connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces and is aimed to foster public activity. <p>The development will target <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/36738/leed-gold" target="_blank">LEED Gold</a> and SITES Silver certifications in a scheme that combines classical influence with state-of-the-art technology. </p>
