<img src="https://archinect.gumlet.io/uploads/15/15dc3c371305f5ad21473518ad5688db.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&enlarge=true&w=1200" border="0" /><p><a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/8869/montreal" target="_blank">Montreal</a>-based <a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/77430946/mu-architecture" target="_blank">MU Architecture</a> has completed a lakeside house in <a href="https://archinect.com/news/tag/3086/quebec" target="_blank">Quebec</a>. Built on the shores of Lake Revdor, the three-level Break Residence was commissioned to fulfill the client’s wish of building a home on the land of his ancestors and is described by the design team as “a place of welcoming and gathering” for the small surrounding community.</p>

The resulting residence is composed of several interlocking volumes resembling a series of rocks, with two levels visible from the street and a hidden ‘garden level’ on the opposite side opening onto the lake.<br></p>
