It is one of the guiding principles behind the architecture of <a href="https://www.encyclopedia.com/environment/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/healing-and-medicine-healing-and-medicine-islamic-texts-and-traditions" target="_blank">Islamic hospital designs</a> dating to the 12th century and will serve as the key to New York-based multidisciplinary studio <a href="https://archinect.com/osdoutside" target="_blank">OSD</a>&rsquo;s landscape design for the new Alice L.
