James R. 2011-04-11T20:11:08-04:00 >2011-04-11T20:53:46-04:00 <em><p>National Architecture Week, April 10-16, is a time to showcase the positive role architects play in our communities and highlight the power of design.</p></em><br /><br /><p>Oddly enough, the AIA's National Architecture Week-- a celebration of our physical built work-- will take place virtually. <br></p> <p>To participate in the event: you can become a fan on <a href="http://facebook.com/aianational" target="_blank">Facebook</a>, join in on a discussion on their Facebook page, follow the AIA on <a href="http://foursquare.com/aianational" target="_blank">Foursquare</a>, use the hashtag '#archweek11' when you check into Foursquare and share it on Twitter to be eligible to receive prizes, and, lastly, <a href="http://www.aia.org/practicing/AIAB088432" target="_blank">find an event hosted by a local AIA chapter</a>.<br></p> <p>According to this <a href="http://www.dexigner.com/news/22798" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">tidbit </a> on Dexinger, a YouTube video from Clark Manus FAIA was promised to kickoff National Architecture Week.
