Another Frank Lloyd Wright home hits the market in Michigan

A private residence designed by Frank Lloyd Wright has hit the auction block in St. Joseph, Michigan, joining a host of other Wright homes that have entered the real estate market in the past year alone.

Listed just shy of $2 million, the Harper House was last seen for sale 25 years ago and is believed to be the last home designed by the architect in the state of Michigan before his death in 1959.

Wright built the L-shaped home for a local doctor in 1950. It was inhabited by the client until her death in a car accident just three years later and has since fallen into the care of one area couple that had previously restored the 3,150-square-foot residence.
