The home had been listed on the private market since July with an asking price of around $1.3 million.</p> <p>The couple who purchased the home also owns Wright&rsquo;s Tonkens House in Ohio, which they <a href="https://ssrg.com/2019/10/18/tonkens-house-renovations/" target="_blank">worked to restore</a>. Efforts to stop the demolition of historic homes in the town of Hinsdale <a href="https://patch.com/illinois/hinsdale/hinsdale-home-demolitions-upset-officials" target="_blank">came up short</a> recently. <em>The Chicago Tribune</em> has more on the house&rsquo;s new lease on life <a href="https://www.chicagotribune.com/real-estate/elite-street/ct-re-elite-street-frank-lloyd-wright-hinsdale-frederick-bagley-house-20210915-ybewnktu3rh65m5vq3vqby2v7q-story.html" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
