Payette's digital strategies group demonstrates the potential for data-driven design. And they are hiring. Niall Patrick Walsh2022-08-31T11:57:00-04:00>2024-10-25T04:07:38-04:00

For this week’s Job Highlights edition, we are adopting a similar tactic with another open role at Payette. Where our previous piece sought to understand the role of an individual position in the practice, we are broadening our scope this week to explore how an entire in-house team at Payette leverages data science to inform the design process.

How do web developers intersect with architectural practice? Niall Patrick Walsh2022-08-03T12:19:00-04:00>2024-10-25T04:07:38-04:00

Among the firms we spoke to was Boston-based Sasaki. In our conversation, we learned that the benefits of creating in-house software and applications led Sasaki to form an entire division of designers, planners, data scientists, and software developers dedicated full-time to web development. Named Sasaki Strategies, the group’s output can vary widely, from interactive apps and software to data visualization and storytelling.
