Payette is recruiting a visualization designer as AI continues to transform architectural imagery

Following our previous look at an opening for a Robotics/Prototype Specialist at the University of Redlands School of Architecture, we are using the latest edition of our Job Highlights series to explore an opening on Archinect Jobs for a Visualization Designer at Payette.

The role, based in Boston, calls for an individual who will be responsible for 3D modeling and grasshopper creation within the firm’s Design Visualizations Group, which “works closely with architecture teams to study, develop, and present complex design solutions.” Among the requirements for the role are a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, excellent 3D modeling skills with Rhino, and preferably experience in Revit, Sketchup, and Grasshopper.

Is architectural visualization more than a pretty image? The response to this question can be polarizing.
