Designed by Spanish architect <a href="https://archinect.com/firms/cover/1636/santiago-calatrava" target="_blank">Santiago Calatrava</a> and completed in 2001, the pavilion&rsquo;s signature characteristic is the&nbsp;Burke Brise Soleil, a moveable, wing-like sunscreen that rests on top of the glass-enclosed Windhover Hall.
